Spanish through Immersion in Spain

“A week of Spanish in Spain was something I’d been planning for a while. When I heard from my favorite teacher Marta about her plan to organize this together with her sister Raquel, I didn’t need to think twice: ¡vamos!
What a wonderful week near the beautiful city of Toledo!
The ever-energetic and cheerful sisters had put together a diverse program where the group of students was immersed in the Spanish language and culture in a relaxed way. It felt like a party within a group of like-minded people and language lovers. An unforgettable experience.

“What a fantastic, educational, and fun week. Marta and Raquel are incredibly charismatic women who welcome you with a Spanish smile from the moment you arrive at the airport, and with their positive energy, they make everyone feel comfortable in the group.

The whole week is very relaxed, with plenty of room for input from the group about what we want to practice. We spend a lot of time enjoying meals together and speaking as much Spanish as possible during everyday activities. Marta and Raquel are great at sensing when you need help with grammar or deepening your understanding, and they always make you feel good when you’re speaking Spanish.

We also visited Toledo, the Don Quixote windmills, and an open-air theater – it’s amazing how much you understand in Spanish already.

What to expect if you go on a language trip: no long grammar lessons, but a lot of speaking and practical practice, plenty of room for your input, immersion in Spanish culture and history, and be prepared to gain a few kilos 😉… Marta and Raquel love to cook, and all the food is absolutely delicious! 😋

“Great atmosphere, lovely people. A very diverse group with different levels of Spanish knowledge.

I wouldn’t have come if I had to share a room. The option of having some alone time was important to me. The bedroom was great, and the bed was comfortable.

The food was delicious, and it was great to eat together.
The excursions were fantastic – I enjoyed Toledo, the Don Quixote windmills in Consuegra, and the surprise performance.

Very enthusiastic, friendly, and fun! Very kind women, and Marta explains things very clearly, so you can ask anything.

“I had an amazing course week with the Camiña sisters this year. They went all out to make it as enjoyable as possible for us. Three shared meals a day, and they really cooked traditional Spanish dishes. We visited local restaurants and experienced the biggest open-air performance in Spain. At the end of the week, they invited all their Spanish friends to chat with us, which naturally turned into a fun party. After the week, I felt much freer speaking Spanish.

“Spanish conversation in Toledo – a group of six taking lessons with Marta and her sister Raquel.
We ate a lot at home with lovely Spanish dishes, and sometimes we went shopping and cooked together, which was great for practicing Spanish as much as possible!
We did some wonderful excursions together, including city visits to Toledo, the famous windmills of Don Quixote, and even an evening performance – a musical and theater spectacle in the dark, in the open air: fantastic! We also had an evening with Raquel’s Spanish friends, with drinks, food, and dancing. It was a great way to practice Spanish, and it was quite an effort!

All this was combined with grammar and vocabulary exercises.

A perfectly organized week and a fantastic way to improve your Spanish.”
